Q. Why are the majority of your clients Chinese?

Q: Why are the majority of your clients Chinese?

A. I just continue to sing the same song about the body and its care and how it led to our glorious independence which led to many unbiased friendships. I have been invited to tell this story in about 25 - 30 countries. One day, I realized when I was invited to South Africa, it wasn't for Africans, it was for the Chinese. And when I tell this wonderful story in Malaysia or Indonesia, it wasn't for the natives either, it was for the Chinese. When I was invited to Australia and New Zealand, it was also for the Chinese. Even in the most out of balance place, Los Angeles, it was the Chinese who wanted to know, and in Kansas and Dallas, there were even more Chinese. I remembered one time I was invited to give a workshop on the famous "Wall Street", New York City, and it was for the Chinese as well. So, this experience has given me an opportunity to understand more about the Chinese, and I thought that every country and city that has a Chinese population ought to be grateful for their presence. I would like to share some of my observation during the last 15 years.

1. Sodium Ring
For some time now, I have observed a sodium ring in the eyes of Chinese. Sometimes, I see it in their late 20s and early 30s, but it mostly occurs in their 40s. In the West, the same sodium ring occurs much later in life, 60 and beyond.

What is a sodium ring? This mark is found in both irises and is an indicator of poor circulation, particularly to the brain and feet, i.e. at the extreme ends of the body. When this happens in the brain, you get poor memory and a lame mentality, high blood pressure, etc., and it seems that in many, it leads to dementia and beyond. Whenever I encounter a severe lung condition, there is a sodium ring.

The constitution of Chinese people is much better than the westerner. This means a quicker recovery and not so many bad habits. However, there is a lot of cancer, high blood, diabetes and failed organs amongst the Chinese. They do not eat well. They eat noodles and a lot of fried food and so much oil that in an average home, oil permeates the air and because it is heavier than air, it settles in various places. The problem of course, is that we inhale the air and as far as I can understand, the body absorbs this oil over the years, and it affects especially the circulation system. And together with poor living habits, all appear in the iris as this opaque ring around the iris, called the "sodium" or "cholesterol ring" .

In a stronger person, because their absorption is greater, so when there is a toxic built-up that comes from wrongful living, the absorption of these poisons is more rapid, and the congestion will appear at an early age. So, the high amount of fried food is partially producing this mark in the irises and added to that, our poor living habits, and whatever genetic injuries we had at birth.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine is famous throughout the world. Their diagnoses and treatments are far superior to western medicine, but the fact that they treat the body and misread the reactions means very clearly that they are both wrong. The only difference remaining is that the medical medicines damage other parts of the body with their notorious side effects. And as far as I know, TC medicine has no side effects.

Another problem with TCM is their effort to treat the body's hot and cold reactions. These reactions don't seem to be understood and an attempt is made to regulate these extreme reactions, referring to it as the well-known phrase "yin" and "yang", and the denial of certain foods such as coconut being too "cooling" (yin) and the mango too ˇ§heatyˇ¨ (yang). We at Our Place International consider both extremes an honest reaction of the body that was not created by the food, but by the body. To treat this reaction and attempt to stop it should not be arbitrarily adjusted. The adjustment can be corrected by the body that created it, if we can consider the cause and remove it.

Confronting the brilliance of the TCM is not popular. It is very difficult to believe that the bodyˇ¦s ability to clean and heal itself through various eliminations makes it more capable to deal with its own healing, far better than all the different approaches to healing on the earth. It is very clear to see all around us that all the modalities have failed, from the MAYO clinic, with the biggest collection of treatments and egos, to the most popular Chinese physician in Singapore or Beijing or the Aryuvedic theory of India or the wheat grass treatment of the late Ann Wigmore. Energy balance, aromatherapy and vitamins are hardly worthy of mention.

(3) Commonsense
The Chinese commonsense is wonderful. No matter what the ancestral history is, commonsense rules the day. But those Chinese that live all over the earth and had to learn to read and write all over again and put up with prejudice and suspicion, they are truly cosmopolitan and they are much different than the Chinese of China. I have always felt that the cosmopolitan Chinese would be a great asset for all Chinese people that are embarking on the world stage.

My tours with the Asian Chinese have been very warm and inviting, and the highlight of my 40-year journey. I deeply appreciate my acceptance by the Chinese people. I am grateful for Siok Khoon. She inherits Our Place and I feel confident that her integrity and ability will guide the principles of Our Place, which are: our health and independence. We both believe that there are no labels to wear, no one to follow, only friendships to have and to realize that our balance and health brings the great prize of equality and happiness.

(4) Chinese Men
Most men sufferthe disease of masculinity. This is especially prevalent in the West where a false sense of superiority is present; thanks to the European influence and the Hollywood lies. When I hold fasting camps and seminars in the US, hardly any men attend. In Canada, it is a little better, but in Asia, almost half are man. I find them to be sensible, gentle and reliable.

(5) Chinese Women
I have for a long time recognized that the Chinese women are not only superior women but also superior human. I was in a cab in Singapore one time, and was asked by the driver if I was looking for a woman. And I asked if he were a supplier, who would he recommend. He said that the Malay and the Indonesian women are hot, but the Chinese women are cold and calculating. That's when I knew that the Chinese women were superior. They have passion but its companion is commonsense and wisdom.

Our Place International is being taken over by women and it is very comforting. It wasn't planned, it just happens.

I used to interview everyone who comes for a consultation, and ask different questions pertaining to their particular complaint. The Chinese women, no matter where on earth they live, every time I asked, "Did you have any children?ˇ¨ they answered, ˇ§I am not married yet.ˇ¨ And when I ask, "Are you sexually active?" And I would get the same answer, "I am not married yet." That's when I realized how superior they are. Our Place International is in the good hands of Chinese women and I know that the purpose and intention of Our Place International is secure.

All the very best,
Ray
