How Foolish Can Man Get?

How foolish can man get? Subjecting our own pets to a human diet of artificial foods and treats. This is a story of how my pet rabbit, Bob, became a lover of fresh veggies out of sheer desperation or chance you may call it.
Bob, who has been on so-called organic, high-quality, enriched pellets for three years suddenly found the diet repulsive. For 3 days he rebelled, refusing to touch any of the pellets and drinking almost came to a halt. The vet advised that he could die in 24 hours without any food, water, and poop and said force feeding should be considered. Would any mother force food down the throat of her child? If not, what makes people think animals are any different from us?
As opposed to what I would have done in the past, to listen to the vet and inadvertently murder my pet, I was very sure one person had the answer and that was Ray Kent and decided to call him up. :Throw out those damned pellets! They are not meant for your good friend!; was what he said. I was told to fast him and make sure though that fresh vegetables were always available in case his appetite returned. This would have been a terrible thought in the past as the vet said starvation would cause GI stasis and eventually death. Yet, I thought if the animal didn・t want to eat, there was no way we could get it to. To force-feed is a heinous crime and I urge all pet owners to think twice about ill-treating your pets in this manner.
For two days, the rabbit was suspicious of carrots and leafy greens and refused to ingest any, dawning on me the perverseness of humans that has translated to animal behaviour. Bob・s taste buds have been changed by artificial foods and he was rejecting his natural palate for fresh vegetables.
He started nibbling on the 6th day, still alive but refused to drink. There was still no bowel movement and little urination. On the 7th day, he ate his hay and still nibbled the vegetables, with increased urination. Bob ate like a baby on the 8th day. He devoured the celery stalks and leaves I gave and followed me around the house, pleading for more.
He is now on a 100% raw diet and he・s decided he won・t go back to the previous one. The day that Bob started eating, an overwhelming sense of joy came over me and I wished I could give Ray a big hug and tell him :YOU ARE THE ONE!; Once again, it・s bingo for Ray and I can・t thank him enough.
