Many are curious to find out how Our Place is run financially, in view of the fact that our website is free; people read Ray’s original writings and we still continue to update the website and translate into as many languages as we can afford; we are always available to anyone who needs help, and we are only a phone call away; our only compensation is for consultations, food classes and fasting retreats; Our Place does not sell pills or cure techniques; we don’t organize any fund-raising campaigns, we do not walk or run for a cure, but we happily and wisely stroll through life.

Many have a hard time believing that Ray is not a millionaire. After all, the kind of help that they received is worth millions and millions of dollars, it is hard to believe that neither Ray nor Our Place is profiting from this in any way. I have heard many who have expressed shock that this man would give away his lifework so easily, when he could easily profit from it, as well as, make a name for himself, and become the millionaire that everybody thinks he is. In the eyes of the world, Ray does indeed have all the ingredients for this kind of success, yet this humble and frugal man dedicates himself totally, to the service of others. I can’t tell you how many times I have been dumbfounded to recognize that THIS IS REALLY WHAT RAY KENT IS ALL ABOUT. I mean, he is truly and honestly dedicated to helping others, and someday, we will all learn how simply he lives.

To me, Our Place is too good to be true. I only paid for a consultation, went to two retreats and got back a life I never dreamed possible, and knowing with security that Ray will always be there when I need his invaluable advice. As I sit back and evaluate this gift, my heart really goes way out for Ray’s total dedication to help anyone who seeks his help. And this organization that he has dreamed of, has become a reality. Our Place International is for sure, not only an engine to help our health, but to promote total independence.

It is truly incredible that anyone who seeks help from Our Place will receive it readily. They don’t have to borrow money or mortgage their home to pay our services.

Yes, indeed, Our Place International is truly a dream come true, to all who believe that no one should profit from our suffering, and we really owe it to Ray’s vision.

For too long, Ray has been pioneering this work all alone. Finance has always been a struggle, and professionally, there have been no help to organize this work and promote it effectively. I know it is not only Ray’s dream, but the dream of many people to want to see Our Place International operating with great success, and hence, I feel it in my conscience to share all of this with you.

This is not a letter to beg for money. This is about all of us who have finally found the way to true health and happiness. In a time when we are sick of being asked to donate time and money for whatever causes, or pay for goods and services that we don’t want, I’d like you to think about Our Place International, our total dedication, and what it means to all of us, because as Ray says, “The time has come when it would be unthinkable to make fortunes because of someone’s pain and suffering.” It is our intention that Our Place International will operate in the highest integrity, and we want all who have received help to promote its growth and help us reach out to all people who are craving this true humanitarian aid.
