10. Just letting you know, I am now on the 11th day of my fast.  Doing well, every day feels easier, I like it.  You are so smart, Ray. I am considering several weeks of a juice-only diet after this...Thank you so much, you are life-savers, literally.

K from Dallas
PS:  I always forget to mention this to Ray.  In the late 80's or early 90's I heard you on a radio interview in Dallas.  It was before I became disabled.  I can't remember if it was KOPN or KERA.  They called you a naturalist, and you lived in Canton.  I clearly remember you talking about how little you eat, and about your daily salad.  I was so impressed with what I heard, I wrote your name down and placed it in my files.  It took me awhile, after finding your website, to realize that was you.  Pretty cool, huh.  Can be a small world at times.

9.Thanks for sending these new articles.  I am a newcomer so not familiar with how everything is done.  I can say this -- I have wanted to send a donation to you guys, but can find no info on how to do this.  It would be nice if this were very clearly posted on your website.  Since you are international, a PayPal account might work well for you.  You have answered all my emails and Ray has talked with me personally on the phone, I am grateful for this and would like to donate something.

May I also say that Ray's philosophy regarding health and money is absolutely refreshing and life-saving when compared to the sad, current state of affairs in health and medicine.  He knows what's right, and how things should be.  As an American who has been ill and on disability for years, with extremely scary and limited income, always teetering on the brink of disaster, it feels heaven-sent to find someone who can help without further destroying my life with extravagant, impossible expenses.  Most sick people don't have much money, because they can't work steadily.  It feels like all of America is against them.  It's a terrible, frantic, unending feeling of panic, hopelessness, fear, and despair.  No one can help you without lots and lots of money.  I am beginning a hopeful new life partly because of you, that means so much to me.  I would be honored to give back something.

Blessings to you,
Anonymous, US

8.Hi Siok Khoon,

I enjoyed the one you wrote on music because as a highly trained piano teacher, it must be really difficult for you to write that article. I guess you must have taken a lot of effort to search deep within to enable you to shift your point of view in order to appreciate Ray's comments.

I always find myself frustrated, challenged and even angry when I read articles from Our Place because you guys are always pushing the boundaries and trying to get everybody out of our comfort zone. However, I know that unless we push the boundaries, and question every belief system that we have been taught from young, we cannot have the breakthrough that we hope for, we cannot have a transformed lifestyle and we cannot truly grow.

If fact, I am currently attending Landmark Education where they too push our hot buttons and barriers and teach us to shift our being so that we can achieve breakthroughs in thinking and experiencing of life. We were taught to "play" the game of life and to "play for the love of the game and nothing else" which I started to appreciate when I read your article on Music. When my daughter gets stressed out from doing too much homework, she picks up her recorder and plays a tune to relax. It does not sound too good but it relaxes her which is the main objective. From Ray's and your articles, I can sense that you guys have truly experienced much breakthroughs and transformations in your lives.

I have attended quite a few of Ray sessions and have heard his advice to have two glasses of juice every day but it was only a "concept" to me until I actually started to have a glass of carrot juice everyday for the past one week. Suddenly I started to feel better and the blood circulation in my left leg which has always been weak, started to feel better. I started to think better and now am trying to eat better again and care for the body more.

So, I would like to thank you and Ray for being honest enough to piss me ( and I am sure a lot of other people ) off,  because we all need to be shaken from our sleep specially when we are killing ourselves and our kids so rapidly with our modern lifestyle.

Regards,

7. I read almost all the articles and I am still reading .....they really sound so logic and real! I especially love the article "Dear Mom and Dad". I can totally understand and feel it and I can confidently say this is how most of us are being raised and still being raised. This article really hit me deep down and makes me ponder why we are continuing this bad way of parenting and not in a loving way.

I had a family full of tension, 3 taurus, 1 gemini, 1 pisces.  Everyday, we are having "wars". I hated it and being a pisces, I seem to absorb all the emotions and I never like to go home because there is always endless bickering. I never feel I had a home and my emotions were never discussed, let alone bird and the bees. I grew up without much love, parental love, siblings¡¦ love, and don¡¦t know how to love and express myself.

I am not sure about my siblings, but I knew I can't enroll into arts school because it is being recognized as "no future", and besides we are too poor to afford it back then. So I just enrolled into some private institutions that everyone recognizes as a ¡§proper¡¨ one...but end up, I never really pursue what I graduated from, and became a self taught jewelry maker, and now, a porcelain painter.

I feel so happy those articles untied my knots that buried deep down in my heart and I am happy that I am a small part of Our Place International and it peels me off like an artichoke and slowly reveals the real good me. And yes, I totally agree with you that we will be surprised what we can do when we can get rid of old boring traditional way of teaching!

Please continue to write such brilliant and influential articles, because I believe it touches many people¡¦s heart and many people need these articles to let them know life is full of love.

6. Siokkhoon,

You are a smart lady, you know what the real truth is and where the treasure are.  You jump into it very bravely and you are tasting the fruits of your victory right now.  I am very happy for you.   I am catching up; and When, What and How to let go are the things I need to learn at this moment.

I felt stress and don't know where are they really came from.  Just like I told Ray before, helping to translate the articles can keep my mind focus and relax my stress at the same time. I believed by helping translate the articles consistently will sharpen my reading, writing and Chinese typing skills and the best of all is to understand the self healing process to the full extent.

All the best,

5. I have read about the article on constipation and it shocked me! During my teenage time, I moved my bowel once every 3 days. I tried to change for the past few years by making it a point to go toilet once a day and I thought it is normal and healthy. Not until I read the article did I realize that all the while I am having constipation!!!

The website has alot of information and hope that I have more time to read through it. Thanks for your sharing, it is an insight!

4. Dear Siokkhoon,

Sorry for replying so late because I'm quite busy with my school work. But I'm delighted to receive your email, and as I read along I felt less anxious for I know you had also been through this painful phase. So now I won't feel that I'm on my own dealing with this additive eating behaviour.

I just want to tell you that I left my weekend to the demons after struggling so hard to resist all the temptations. In other words my new self lost the battle. But yesterday, I had fruits all day and a cup of vegetable soup in early evening as I could not bear myself to perform such abuse anymore. I let my stomach rested yesterday and although I did not eat much, I went to the toilet a lot. I think this is good to let the body eliminates all the leftover waste before eating again. I felt slightly better afterwards today since my stomach is not as bloated and pressurized¡K

I'm pleased with myself because I'm able to control myself!

3. ¡§Peace within us is the beginning of peace on earth. When the nosiest and the most destructive life on earth finally have peace within, then all life on earth will breathe a sigh of relief, and be happy that we have found ourselves at last, by following the truth and not the one who speaks it.¡¨ ~ From Ray¡¦s article on ¡§Follow the Truth¡¨

I was a student at the School of Metaphysics in Kenosha Wisconsin in 1984. I remember saying to the Director Dr. Dan Condron at the time, "my life demonstrates who and what I am."  He thought that was very wise and so did I.  He put it on a recipe card for others to see. He now is the head of that School in Windyville Mo. It seemed a mandate for me to live and prove what I am telling others to do.

Sadly I have not fulfilled that in relationship to food - I do raw for quite awhile and the get into SAD and off into the "addiction" of the food.  It has been one that I have not demonstrated longer than a year or so.  I have been sober for 30 years and drug free for a long time.  Used medication (drugs) for blood pressure, thyroid, asthma - all disappeared as I ate right and got off those too.

I hope to continue to investigate your site - I am reading it slowly. It's helping to get more rooted in Life of Health. It makes sense.

I am a member of PathofHealth@yahoogroups.com - I've learned a lot there and Elchanan and Bob have helped.  I think they learned a lot from you also.

Your above statement takes some of the pressure off.

2. I find it very interesting that Our Place is broadening its teachings beyond the right diet, fasting and the damaging effects of treating symptoms.
