The Precious Journey

Children are mould from what we know,
Yet they question things we don’t even know.

Sculptors we assume as our heavenly roles,
Yet children always challenge and oppose.

Children’s territory is the big unknown,
Yet only few of us would like to roam.

We deny the beauty children told,
And their tales and wonders that they behold,
Yet when children finally have nowhere to go,
We say to them,
“Use your imagination and off you go!”
