Observation No. 15 (On Vitamins)

On Feb 28 '07 BBC reports that Vitamins 'could shorten life span'. The Copenhagen University Researchers suggested the use of antioxidant supplements appeared to raise, not lower, the risk of early death.

Dr Frankie Phillips from British Dietetic Association said, "we already know that taking supplements isn't in any way a replacement for a good balanced diet."

Isn't it obvious that we do not need vitamins? We do not need them from ancient time, and we do not need them now when food supplies are so abundant to us. The variety of food gives us variety of natural vitamins, who needs the artificial ones?
