Observation No. 22: Cataract in Children Just heard the latest news in Singapore that the incidence of children diagnosed with cataract is on the rise, and this caught many by surprise as they used to think that cataract is only common amongst the older people. Now, statistics shows that about 1 in every 3000 children have cataracts. Our Comments When the majority are ¡§caught by surprise¡¨ by this disease trend in children, it just shows that they do not have the slightest clue as to the true cause of disease, and that must mean that all the so-called ¡§health prevention¡¨ programs are useless. This also means that all the health advices and health tips that we pick up from health magazines and journals must be guesswork, because they don¡¦t even know what the true cause of disease is, and all that they can offer are fictitious ways to manage the disease that came from ¡§nowhere¡¨. Anyone who understands the true cause of disease will not be taken by surprise why such a disease trend is fast developing in children. Only the vigilant can see long before the tragedy happens. I remembered someone once asked Ray, ¡§What is the biggest threat to humanity?¡¨ He said it is not terrorism or global warming or whatever makes the news headlines, but the fact that we are still ignorant that we are driving ourselves into extinction. His words left me in deep contemplation and left me wondering if we could ever begin to try and explain to people that everything we believed in is killing us, for if it is not everything, then we would not have the symptom of losing everything, including our children, i.e. our future. When parents find children plagued by diseases and don¡¦t know what went wrong, some will leave it to the complicated medical explanation, while others will try to trace back to some particular incidents that they¡¦ve done terribly wrong, but nobody would suspect that almost everything we did was wrong. It¡¦s time for the wiser ones to look deeper at the cause of all diseases, which as Ray has put it very neatly, is a combination of:
